Researching traditional music of Basilicata, readpting it, and performing it all over the region are the aims of Ethnos, a Lucanian band. The Ethnos project was born some years ago and it has exploded during this summer. Ethnos played in many Lucanian villages and the success was enormous. The tour is still on until the middle of September. Information about concerts' dates and albums can be found on Ethnos' blog, which is available only in Italian.

Welcome to the European Rural Bloggers Network
By GalloItalica on Thursday, August 23 2007, 22:33 - Rural Network
Giving voice to the rural and peripherical corners of Europe is the aim of this blog. I want to talk of stories, events, and people from those areas: from Basilicata in Italy to Highlands in Scotland passing through Transylvania in Romania. In order to do that, I want to create a network of "European Rural Bloggers". The "rural blogger" writes about his or her area. If you want to be part of this network, send to saverioromeo@hotmail.com (My name is Saverio!) an e-mail specifying the area you want to cover and maybe your first post. I hope to see many rural bloggers soon!
